The Anchors Boys meet at Baljaffray Parish Church on Fridays at 6.30pm. Peter Hamilton (right)  is the leader.

What we get up to

The Anchors section is a fun filled environment for boys in Primary 2 and 3. We offer a varied and exciting programme with different activities aimed to help boys learn more through making friends and having fun at the same time.
Badgework - Anchors Award Scheme

The Anchors offer a fun and varied programme of activities within the "Anchors Award Scheme". During your time in the Anchors, you'll work to achieve your Green, Red and Blue badges.

Games

Most nights at Anchor Boys involve various games being played. They could be either physical or entail thinking, but they are always fun and friendly. During these activities, boys have a great chance to form new relationships and learn how to communicate and interact, all while having a good time.

Company Parades

The Anchor Boys accompany the Junior Section and the Company Section during the Company Parades to local Churches each year.

Themed nights

Every so often, the Anchor Boys have a themed night. It could be for Halloween, Christmas or perhaps Red Nose Day. Whatever the occasion is a special programme is arranged and is usually filled with inter-squad games and competitions.
