Prayer Suggestions

SUNDAY

Pray for the service this morning - the atmosphere, the welcome at the door, the preaching, the singing - and for some of the folk we see rarely as well as our friends we see week by week.

Remember the SS and Bible Class with their own lesson preparation and presentation.

MONDAY

The Guild and the Forum meet on alternate Mondays - good fellowship and friendship.

Pray that the working week may go well. remember those looking for work or recently retired.

TUESDAY

Remember the young people of the congregation - in GB , BB etc Give them the courage to speak of their faith and not just follow the crowd.

The lunchtime meeting '@ the den' sees the pupils from Bearsden Academy at the Church - pray for the helpers and that a good number may come and become 'used' to coming to church.

WEDNESDAY

Pray that we may be faithful in reading the Bible and that we may apply what we learn in our lives.

THURSDAY

Pray for the sick, lonely, troubled, anxious, etc. Pray for families and the struggles of bringing up children to follow Jesus in a secular society.

FRIDAY

The Scripture Union Groups in the local schools: pray for the leaders for guidance and wisdom and real love for all the children. Especially remember Edith and Moira Porter who run the group in Baljaffay school.

Gathering Place meets on 3rd Friday of the month

SATURDAY

Fergusons in Japan (and 2 children in India) and the Laings in Jerusalem

Cover all these topics with prayer!
