The Group started up on the 16th March 2002 to encourage friendship between fellow church members, and at the same time enjoy the Scottish Countryside. Some of the walks we have done include Achray Forest to the Brig o’ Turk and the Forth and Clyde Canal from Bowling to the Falkirk Wheel. On the first Saturday in June each year we go to Arran and do part of the Arran Coastal Walk. On the first Saturday in May we do a sponsored walk for Christian Aid. The walks are usually on the first Saturday of the month and all leave the Baljaffray Parish Church car park at 9-30a.m. The average walk is about 9 miles.

 The walks for the next 3 months are October 10th we will do a walk In Loch Ard Forest, this is a moderate 10 mile walk on good tracks. The walks on November 14th and December 5th will depend on the Weather.
